Raising money for
Donations accepted until 23-04-2019
I’ve always wanted to do a Wingwalk and so when I spotted the opportunity to have a go, while collecting money for a worthy charity, I jumped at the chance!
As a member of the ATC (Air Training Corp) in my youth, I’ve always had an affinity with the RAF and so I’m happy and proud to raise money for their support charity.
The RAF Association’s Wings Appeal supports serving and ex-RAF personnel and their families, whenever they are in need. Whether it’s an injured airman fighting to get back onto his feet, a young child missing their parents away on overseas operations or a WWII veteran needing a shoulder to lean on, they are there to help.
They are entirely dependent on the generosity of people like you to help them raise funds, so if I’m going to strap myself onto the top of a small bi-plane and fly around the British countryside, why not do it for such a deserving charity!!
So please help me raise as much money as I can and keep your fingers crossed that the gaffa tape holds me on the plane!!!
Thank you for your generous sponsorship x
So, I’m going to be strapped to the top wing of a 1940’s Boeing Stearman bi-plane, while the pilot has fun doing flypasts, zoom climbs, dives and banking turns…..while I’ll just be hoping my breakfast doesn’t make a reappearance!!
So in summary, please sponsor me for this event and support this worthy charity.
