SAFE AFRICA London to Dublin 2018
Great to be involved in the 7th annual fund raising cycle ride. I am sure that the hard miles will be worth it. Please donate to a very worthy cause.

Senior anaesthetic cyclist, who comes from a small village just 12 miles away from Geraint Thomas! I have cycled every AAGBI charity cycle ride, and intend to finish this one in Dublin in September.
Help save lives in Africa through safer anaesthesia.
Around the world people are suffering or dying unnecessarily from the lack of safe anaesthesia in surgery, something that is taken for granted in the UK.
The situation is critical in Africa, where millions lack access to safe anaesthesia.
SAFE Africa is the Association of Anaesthetists fundraising campaign aiming to:
- Raise at least £100,000
- Scale-up the delivery of three-day SAFE obstetrics and paediatrics training courses
- Sustainably improve anaesthesia education and care in Africa in the long-term
Each one of these will go on to treat around 1,500 patients each year.
With your support, we can train even more practitioners and improve the safety of thousands of patients in Africa.
